Repurpose
An hour of slides, three reels
A webinar is optimised for people who already agreed to spend an hour with you, which is the exact opposite of the short-form contract. Almost nothing transfers unedited.

Three steps
How it will work
Skip to the Q and A
The prepared section is almost never usable. The unscripted answers frequently are.
Find the one slide
Most decks contain a single frame that makes sense with no narration. That one can carry a video.
Rebuild rather than clip
Webinar audio over a screen recording does not work vertically. Take the point and remake it.
What it is for
Why this one is worth having
The Q and A is the content
Prepared webinar delivery is paced for a captive audience. The answers to live questions are the only part spoken at anything like short-form energy.
Screen shares do not crop
A 16:9 slide cropped to vertical is unreadable. This is the single biggest reason webinar repurposing looks bad.
Treat it as a source, not a supply
The webinar is where the material came from. Nearly all of it needs remaking rather than clipping, and expecting otherwise is what wastes the afternoon.

What you can already do
Rebuilding a point as a fresh vertical clip, captioned and paced for a feed, is what AI Studio does. The webinar ingest is the part still being built.
AI StudioFAQ
Webinar to reels, asked and answered
Can I just clip the webinar recording?
Rarely with a good result. The pacing, the framing and the aspect ratio are all wrong for a feed, and each one alone would be enough to sink it.
What part of a webinar is worth keeping?
Unscripted answers, strong specific numbers, and any moment where someone disagreed. The scripted walkthrough almost never survives.
Is it worth recording webinars for this?
As a by-product, yes. As the primary reason to run one, no. Purpose-made short-form is faster and better.

- Long video to ShortsA forty-minute video usually contains three or four genuinely self-contained moments, and the reason repurposing disappoints is that people cut on chapter markers instead of finding those..
- Explainer video makerAn explainer that tries to cover a topic will lose.
- Repurposing plannerThe expensive part of content is having the idea and checking it is true.
