Ask for one thing
The end of a short-form video is the most wasted real estate in marketing. Almost every one finishes with a generic request for three actions at once, which reliably produces none of them.

Three steps
How it will work
Pick one action
Comment, save, follow, or click. Not two. A viewer given a choice at the end of a video takes the exit.
Make it cheap
The best-performing CTAs ask for something that costs a second. Comment beats click, and click beats sign up, every time.
Say it out loud and on screen
Spoken CTAs get missed on mute, on-screen ones get missed while watching. The ones that work do both.
What it is for
Why this one is worth having
One ask per video
Every additional request roughly halves the response to the first one. Follow, like and share in one breath is three ways of asking for nothing.
Comment CTAs are underrated
They cost the viewer nothing, they generate the engagement signal that lifts distribution, and they hand you a list of people to reply to.
Earn it first
A CTA on a video that delivered nothing reads as a toll booth. The ask is only as strong as the thirty seconds in front of it.

What you can already do
Captions written per clip already carry a closing line you can edit before anything is scheduled. The standalone CTA tool is the part still being built.
AI StudioFAQ
CTA generator, asked and answered
Does asking for a follow actually work?
Rarely, on its own. Follows tend to come from someone deciding they want the next video, which is a function of the video rather than the request at the end of it.
Should the CTA be in the caption or the video?
Both, and they should match. A caption asking for a comment under a video asking for a click splits the response.
Do link-in-bio CTAs hurt reach?
There is no confirmed penalty for saying it. What is true is that off-platform clicks are the highest-friction action you can ask for, so it should be your only ask when you use it.
