Planning
One sitting, a month of posts
Batching fails when people batch by date instead of by setup. Making eleven videos in an afternoon is only faster if the eleven share something, otherwise it is eleven separate jobs with no breaks.

Three steps
How it will work
Group by what is shared
Same setup, same format, same props. The saving comes from not switching, and switching is what a date-ordered plan forces.
Do all of one stage
Every script, then every generation, then every caption. Finishing one video end to end is the slow way.
Queue at the end
Scheduling is its own block, done once, with the whole month visible at the same time.
What it is for
Why this one is worth having
Context switching is the cost
The time lost in batching is almost entirely in changing modes. Grouping by setup removes the switches rather than the work.
Stage-first, not video-first
Doing all the scripts at once produces better scripts, because you are comparing eleven of them rather than writing one in isolation.
Batching buys resilience
A queue two weeks deep means an unexpected week costs you nothing, which is the actual reason accounts survive.

What you can already do
Building a month and reviewing the queue in one pass is what Automations are designed around: pick a range and a time, check it once, then leave it running.
AutomationsFAQ
Batch planner, asked and answered
How far ahead should I batch?
Two to four weeks. Further out and the content starts to age before it posts, particularly anything reactive.
Does batched content feel stale?
Only if it was tied to the moment. Evergreen material is completely unaffected, which is an argument for making most of your content evergreen.
How long does a month take to batch?
With generation in the loop, an afternoon is realistic for twelve posts. The scheduling pass afterwards is under an hour.
