Planning
Narrow until it gets specific
Almost every new account is aimed at a topic rather than a niche, and a topic is a category with a thousand incumbents in it. The narrowing is the strategy, not a step before it.

Your broad topic
personal finance
- Money for people paid irregularly
- First 90 days of freelancing
- Pensions for the self-employed
Three steps
How it will work
Start broad, cut twice
One narrowing gets you to a smaller topic. Two gets you to something with an actual edge.
Test the sentence
If you cannot say who it is for in one clause, it is not narrow enough yet.
Check you can make fifty
A niche you run out of in a fortnight was a video idea rather than a niche.
What it is for
Why this one is worth having
Narrow is how small accounts win
Broad topics are decided by budget and back catalogue. Narrow ones are decided by whether anyone is bothering, which is a fight you can win.
Specific is more searchable
The narrow phrasing is the one people actually type. Broad category terms are contested by everyone and owned by nobody new.
Narrow does not mean small
A well-chosen niche is a door into the broad topic. You can widen later from a position of being known for something.

What you can already do
Once the niche is decided, generating fifty takes on it is the easy part. Rush turns one narrow idea into a deck of finished reels in a couple of minutes.
RushFAQ
Niche finder, asked and answered
Can a niche be too narrow?
Rarely, at the start. The failure mode of new accounts is overwhelmingly the opposite, and widening later is much easier than becoming known for something.
How do I know if a niche has an audience?
Search the phrasing on the platform itself. If videos exist and get views but there are only a handful, that is the good case, not the bad one.
Should I pick a niche I know nothing about?
You can, and the content will be researched rather than lived. It is slower and it shows, particularly in comments.
