Point at the thing
The green screen format solves a problem that talking to camera cannot: showing the thing you are reacting to at the same time as reacting to it. Describing a screenshot is always worse than standing in front of one.

What is behind the presenter
a screenshot of a pricing page with the annual toggle on
- Presenter framed left, artwork readable right
- Zoom onto the detail at the claim
- Caption clear of both
Three steps
How it will work
Pick the artefact
A screenshot, a chart, a headline, a competitor's page. Something the viewer can read while they listen.
Frame so both are legible
The most common failure is a presenter standing over the exact detail the video is about.
Zoom on the claim
The moment the point is made, the artwork should be the biggest thing on screen.
What it is for
Why this one is worth having
Evidence in frame
A claim with the source visible behind it is a different kind of argument from the same claim spoken alone. It is why the format dominates commentary.
Legibility beats composition
A screenshot nobody can read on a phone is a blank background. Crop hard and zoom rather than fitting the whole page in.
Watch what you screenshot
Someone else's content behind you is still their content. Commentary is usually fine, wholesale reposting is not.

What you can already do
Attaching an image and generating a presenter run around it works in AI Studio today. The dedicated green screen composer is the part still being built.
AI StudioFAQ
Green screen video maker, asked and answered
Can I use a competitor's page as the background?
For genuine commentary or comparison, generally yes, and it is a well-established format. Presenting their material as your own is a different thing entirely.
Does the background need to be a screenshot?
No. Charts, headlines, product photos and video all work. The requirement is that it is readable at phone size, not what kind of file it is.
Is green screen still effective?
It is one of the few formats that has survived every algorithm change, because it is doing something structurally useful rather than following a trend.

- B-roll generatorMost videos that nearly work fail for one boring reason: nothing changed on screen for long enough that the viewer's thumb got involved..
